Apologies for the delayed update for this upcoming month, as you may be fully aware, June is Area41 month which means we are working super hard and busy behind the scenes currently to make sure everything is prepared and looking sweet for the con itself. This of course take many hours and days out of our regular schedule, all on a voluntary basis….

But nonetheless! We are back for another round of meetups and sharing cool stories, times and vibes with our amazing community. The summer season is officially with us so lets get outside, soak the sun and a cold one with it.

Yes that´s right, we are officially sold out for Area41 for 2022, the tickets sold like hot cakes and we are so humbled and proud that motivation to attend this conference was at such a high demand. We of course can only apologise if were unable to get a ticket this time around, we of course have limits to the amount of space available to us and we strive to ensure the quality and experience had is what our community have come to expect from us. But fret not, all the talks will be recorded and made available on our YouTube channel soon after, so you can catch up with all the cool info, insights, demos and PoCs given at the con 🙂

As you may be aware, this year is (FINALLY!) an Area41 year, and this means we are working hard behind the scenes to prepare the best conference yet for our community! 🙂 Currently the Call For Papers (CFP) is open, so if you are sitting on some interesting research or found some sweet haxx in recent times, why not show them off on our stage?! Note that the close date is Sunday April 10th 2022 @ 23:59 CEST, so get them in quick!

As COVID measures have significantly changed since last month, we are super happy to finally once more start to offer physical meetup opportunities again for everyone across the nation. Not much has really changed over the last month so we continue to offer our premium online meetup experience over at the BoT Discord server.

We have some wonderfully dedicated community members ensuring fun and eventful times are had when you are able to join us, from your latest work from home hax to fighting over music playlists and even gaming sessions to cry over how you STILL can’t get your hands on a new 3090…

 

This means all BoT meetups & regular interactions/chats will be continued across our available virtual environments, on both our Slack Channel & Discord Server.

 

Until further notice, all monthly meetups will be held online on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

As you may have seen, our lives have been updated once more under new COVID measures and we are having to be dynamic and adjust accordingly. If you have been reading this over the last few months, you would have known that we had our annual members-only DC4131 hike event a couple weeks ago, and it was one of our best and most attended to date! 🙂
We had literally the perfect weather for the day, and the multiple strategies on show were a sight to behold, from the “beer for breakfast” approach, to the “dressed like I’m doing national army service” professional readiness approach, to which we all I’m sure can agree, had an awesome time.
