As usual, sign up isn’t mandatory but it improves our planning, so we appreciate it. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Our annual DC4131<\/strong><\/span> hike is becoming a tradition. So once again this is your chance to get away from monitors and keyboards. The primary date is Saturday, September 8th 2018<\/strong>. Backup date on bad weather is Sunday, September 23rd 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s hike will be done close to Eigenthal in the canton of Lucerne.<\/strong> We have at least two routes there and will choose based on who is participating. Attendees should be prepared for a 3-4 hour hike with around 500m up-\/downhill<\/strong>. After the hike we will finish the day with a BBQ outdoors at one of the many fireplaces in the region.<\/p>\n

If you’re in, then please sign up on the following Doodle until Monday September 3rd.<\/strong> The hike is open for everyone. Equipment:
\n– Solid hiking boots and if available walking sticks
\n– Rain protection (even for good weather forecast)
\n– Sun protection (cap, sunglasses, sun cream)
\n– Backpack with enough to drink for the hike and food for the day and the BBQ<\/p>\n

We will define the details (exact times, how to get there, weather
\nconditions) on Thursday, September 6th<\/strong> and send them those who signed up via Doodle (see above).<\/p>\n
