That’s right! 😀 We are back again with the first DC4131 Dojo for 2025! A hands-on technical workshop featuring finessing your skills at lock picking and/or soldering (#BadgeLife)

This is be a DC4131 member priority event, meaning all DEFCON Switzerland members will have priority to available spaces & equipment. Spaces & hardware are limited and thus are provided in a 1st come 1st serve basis.

In this edition, we invite you to explore and experience the worlds of lock picking and soldering (#BadgeLife), being hosted and taught by our valued community members, Vratko, Salvatore, Pascal and Adi. This really is something not to miss, and who knows where these newly acquired skills may come in helpful….. 😉

DC4131 Members Only –  Nerdy Field Trip to Basel Computer Museum

This place is seriously cool – a total walk down memory lane. Tons of old computers, classic games, and best of all: you can touch and play with everything. It’s super interactive, nerdy, and just plain fun.

DC4131 members will have already received an email (which you signed up to DC4131 with) from Mirjam on the 23rd April extending the exclusive invite, with spaces limited to 20 persons on this edition. We very much hope and anticipate further future editions to be happening later in the year for those either on the waiting list or unable to make it on this occasion. “Get ready to fire up your soldering iron and dive into the world of electronics! This hands-on workshop starts with the absolute basics—like what soldering is and how to do it safely (without any accidental burns!). From there, you’ll level up, learning how to solder cables, attach components to through-hole PCBs, and, best of all, create your very own project to take home! So we held 2 final events for 2024, the Lockpicking & Soldering Dojo Workshop, courtesy of our esteemed community friends, Pascal, Vratko, Salvatore and co. as well as a final HackTheBox Dojo with the Hack Master himself, Antoine 🙂

They were once more very well received and we are already cooking up a lot of new events upcoming in 2025, so be sure to keep your eyes open and ready to sign up to grab your spot!

 

Area41 2026 – SAVE THE DATE!

That’s right!! We have already officially announced the date of the next edition of Area41 – Thursday 18th – Friday 19th June 2026 – PUT THAT BLOCKER IN PLACE! 😀
